Virtual Picnic Date

This virtual picnic date is a playful way to share a meal together that goes beyond sitting in front of the same screen and background. You can explore nature through sound, talk about your picnic setup, and enjoy a romantic experience.

Instructions

Pick a time that works for both of you; use a time zone converter if needed.

Hop on a video call using Zoom, Google Meet, Discord, FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, or Skype.

Choose your spot (living room, balcony, backyard, local park, beach).

Set up a comfy spot: lay a blanket, add pillows, and soft lighting.

Build your menu: charcuterie, sandwiches, sushi, vegan bites, or junk food snacks.
If you are in different time zones, one can do breakfast while the other does dinner.

Start your picnic: show your spreads, make a toast (mocktail, tea, sparkling water), and enjoy while you talk about your set-up, what you did throughout the day and which nature sound you prefer.

🌿 Play nature sounds through a shared Spotify playlist—birds, waterfalls, rain etc—to feel like you’re together.
🖼️ If you’re indoors, use a themed virtual background (park, beach, forest, or mystical).
