Play Wordle

This long-distance date brings the popular word puzzle Wordle, the daily brain teaser now part of The New York Times games. Instead of playing alone, you and your partner can play together through WeWordle, a multiplayer version you can join online.

Instructions

Pick a time that works for both of you; use a time zone converter if needed.

Hop on a video call using Zoom, Google Meet, Discord, FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, or Skype.

Open WeWordle and share the game link with your partner.

Take turns guessing: Each of you tries a word, watching the colored tiles reveal which letters are right.

The tiles will change colors: green means the letter is correct and in the right spot, yellow means it’s in the word but in a different spot, and gray means it’s not in the word at all.
